Learnt about empathy-overflow - “when you empathise beyond your personal boundaries, the surplus empathy starts corroding the boundaries from outside” - I made this concept 😎

3

Went to the temple today, prayed for a good sales hire.

Gam tera khatam hone ka nahi hai, Gam jo tere saath khatam ho gya uska hai

Karma balance negative kar diya bhai ne..ab tho 10x pe repay hoga.

2

Felt good pep-talking my employees

1

Met a CEO, caught him bullshitting and called it out. Was lovely to see his employees gawk at me.

Why am I doing startup if do not fuck around.

30

Had a therapist trying to gaslight me in favour of my gaslighting ex. What a first experience.

Took myself of a book reading/shopping date. Was fun.

29

I have seen everything in love.. from butterflies to oneness to obliteration, what more can I ask for?

Pagalpan loading 😉 Bad time so goated, ki billi ka rashta kaat du tho billi mar jaye

“What’s your cage?”

My love is epic.

28

I had my first investor meeting today! Yay!! ..and the life goes on.

27

Felt closer to myself, after the breakup.

It is one thing to be downsized by the world, and another thing to be downsized by that someone who was your world.

Love happened to me, betrayal happened to me. No one did anything to me.

My love is victorious.

So many things have happened on my 31st running year on earth that 30s almost feels that it’s gonna be epic!

I am listening to old songs and I am not feeling sad-nostalgic. I used to feel upset when I used to listen to old songs as if I regret not doing well. But it is not happening this time.

26

I slept in my office. Dream come true!

1 week since the finish started and it feels like ages passed. but ages did pass (into nothingness). I am glad at the spectacle the life is.

25

I went to a journalism lecture. I was authentic, as opposed to, being pretentious which is how I used to be 2 years back

I went to a journalism lecture. wanted to start my journey. Realised it’s a serious game. I wonder which kind of journalism I will like

24

Learnt a lesson - never stay unintentionally at a place. Your intention should demand attention.

23

I found an ultimate way of handling someone who is drunk - offer them more alchol. but an easier way is to be nice with them instead of being angry

May my shocks sharpen my intuition.

22

I have good story-telling skills. unhoned though.

I am ashamed of not trusting my instincts strong enough

21

I have lived a heartbreak that I used to only imagine through movie scenes.

20

TIL that blasting high tempo songs loud near your brain helps you fight overflow of thoughts, etc.

19

My life is flipped upside down. There is nothing real around me. My heart can’t stop pounding for the whole day. I am in some strange simulation of the world. I feel like I am in a nightmare.

18

I picked up a fight with company’s logistics and got what I was looking for.

Acted on my intuition and found various sides of people. I am getting good at people

16

Travelled to some amazing places in Goa.

15

I cried, danced, laughed, acted out, all alone in the beach and realised I am awesome alone. I unlocked a new craziness in me. Realised I work to keep myself sane or else I will go mad. Realised how passionate I am. Loved the sunset in that beach.

14

Late night, I found an erratic behavioural side of me.

I have numerous slack channels that I have not opened in last 1 month (more like, did not need to.) have I learnt the art of delegation?

13

“Picking a niche and doubling down gives a sense of security (amongst competiton)”

12

Met a nice friend. I am starting to become much more socially enjoyable person

10
  • Designed and executed an amazing developer hiring interview. Love my job!!
8

How I be moving being HR, Finance, Business, Tech etc all compacted in one. being bad at everyone of them.

I realised I am not that much of a 1st principle thinker as I think I am

I did finances of my company and realised how hell of an important thing is cash flow

7

Promising stuffs without having any idea how - has become my thing these days.

6

Got bashed by a candidate for wasting her time because it took longer for me to evaluate her. Running startup is refreshingly humbling.

5

I realised I am quite funny for a person with my sense of humour

4

Not reacting in the heat of the moment is a subtle kind of wisdom. Just sleep on it.

I have gained a subtle instinct for seemingly ordinary occurrences. It feels powerful.

We got our company registered today!

3
  • Have a call of reckoning with a customer in 2 hours, and I am laughing nonsensically. Actually, I have recently learnt to laugh whenever there is something that is supported to scare me. Love this new form
  • Today is the joining of my first full time employee. Yay!! Glad to be on this side after 7 years

29

Learnt about scarcity mindset vs abundance mindset. I am trying to move to the latter one.

26

Lost a deal due to over-negotiation and not signing up on time. I need to practice more to get better. More and more I realise that cracking a good deal is all about knowing my own-self well. Knowing my need-to-win, my fears, my budget and my chull to negotiate it for fun.

I met my friends, I was not there.

25

We got keys of our first office. Guess we are grown ups now.

24

Found myself being over excited and acting embarrassingly weird stuff. I forgot my adolescence can take trip back home.

Made a classic mistake of hiring before having figured out the fit in the daily workflow. Was about to finalise but then realised my hiring parameters are totally wrong because of ambiguity

17

I was too harsh to my team members and I felt sorry after that. but I bit my lip, instead of blurting out sorry

16

A customer told us that our work is AI and all of the team gathered up and discussed for 2 hours obsessively on what went wrong. Sometimes I think - “Really? I made this team?”

Today I signed a makes-me-shit-in-my-pants deal

15

Today, I had a customer go from “we are happy with traditional workflow” to converted-closed in 5 minutes. It was all due to asking “can you help me understand why” when she said “I don’t like AI.” followed by sending some kickass no-bullshiter samples.

“For a different result, you have to do something different” - Struck a deal that is unusual by many standards. Did it because want to do something different this time.

13

Had a kickass start of the week, I won the first punch with my week

11

I was feeling quite low but I lifted myself up and pushed myself into working through it. “You don’t let yourself slow down in the middle of a round”. - in boxing context.

10

Today, I got a call from a prospect in my sleep, I woke up to the call, drowsily introduced myself, then gave a perfect pitch of what we do, and slept back. All in 20 seconds

I switched my cold call strategy to tell them that “I got this contact from another brand owner” and it increased trust so much that they stayed longer and receptionist even forwarded founder’s contact twice. just the start so lets see

7

Found a kickass candidate, working from a remotest part of Rajasthan. Is in class 10th but has self taught himself lead generation.

Made a good friend and had a great time. Also, Bangalore club is pretty.

6

I had the most ordinary day today but in the evening, I seized it by doing some focused work. vibed with some theivery corporation and co songs.

The meaning of winning the day hit me. There are so many distractions everyday but then some set of tasks are so important that without them you feel you lost the day. Let’s see if I use this realisation

5

Today TIL got its life. Idea of starting it is to be able to capture days between years so that I can compliment saying “Time flies!” with “but I lived.”

I had another mindless conversation with my friends and loved it. Has recently become this person who has started enjoying friends company

4

I went to meet my ex-colleagues and I was able to put a nice pitch for GlitrAI and was also not super awkward. I was the youngest but I fit right in. I also went into this meetup even though I did not feel like it initially. I did not skip this time.

3

We started planning our next quarter and its goals. I loved the way I conducted the meeting in a way where I just knew what rough picture I wanted to draw is going to be but it took a good shape when I started talking.

I think I speak too much. I should be great at saying right things in the right amount

I liked how I started with recapping good things which happened in last 3 months and how we faced incredible challenges which affected our plan execution.

2

My team made me realise I negotiate too cut-throat with my customers and I should close at a more win-win pricing. - It is a grave mistake but I felt good to know that I am a good salesman.

I had to let go of one employee. I had the hard conversation with him. At the end, the person had zero despise for the decision. I am proud of the way I carried that conversation out

28

I watched inside out and I realised how I was missing this perspective in the past

29

I met an awesome person, who is running a Business Intelligence startup for retailers. He is quite senior to me but we had a conversation like a friend. This is new me. who will make connection, meet people, do some signalling here and there.

30

My team made me realise that 3 months flew by and we did not achieve much in our startup. It was a kick in the gut moment. I realised how every moment that I don’t perform, is something I have to pay a premium for in the future if luck too did not help.
